  • I recommend washing in cold on the delicate cycle with a color catcher sheet (you can find at Amazon) to avoid having the colors bleed. I lay mine flat to dry, but I’ve heard that people have had success with machine drying on low.

  • Some people prefer to wash them rarely, maybe once a year. Other people wash them more frequently and they seem to hold up. Of course the more you wash them, the sooner they may wear out.

  • These are not “blankets.” Quilts are handcrafted works of art. They require a lot of work and expertise and are one of a kind. I’ve seen quilts as inexpensive as $150 and all the way up to $12,000.

  • Materials cost about $150 and the time can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks or 40-80 hours. It’s a lot of work (and love).
